The Navigator project was started back in 1997 as an attempt to collect and index information about the
Japanese porn magazines.
Very little is known about the origin of the magazines and the actresses. Actually it's understandable since porn is still illegal in Japan and the magazines are still produced and distributed underground. This is the little I have managed to dig up.
The magazines are divided into 3 categories.
Urabon,
Vinyl (aka: Bini & Beaver Books), Photo Books + some videos which are related to magazines.
The Navigator database currently contains:
- 2708 Urabon magazines
- 4143 Vinyl magazines
- 934 Photo Books
- 17461 Movies
